Terms & Conditions

About Your Pet

 

1. Please make sure your pet is clean.

2. Up to date flea & worm treatments and vaccination required.

 

3. Any dogs coughing or showing any signs of ill health on arrival, will not be allowed to board with us.

4. We do not insure your pet’s illness or any other medical condition whilst in our care. Any further expenses will be charged to the owner. It is emphasised that our insurance excludes any current or recurrent illness or injury. You agree to cover any costs that arise from veterinary treatment and we reserve the right to charge reasonable transport expenses to and from a Vet. We may call you from the Vet’s surgery to arrange payment before treatment is commenced.

5. Please describe your pets base on the truth. If they love chewing, scratching, making and/ or barking when they are left alone to sleep at night. Also, please inform us if they have any health issue (e.g., Separation Anxiety Disorder, etc.) or other special requirements, that would be really helpful to know what is the best care for them.

6. You need to provide us with a minimum of one emergency contact for the duration of your pets stay. The emergency contact needs to be able to provide your pet with emergency accommodation should a situation arise where we are no longer able to keep them with us (e.g., your pet doesn’t settle and becomes increasingly stressed or becomes ill,  etc.) Please be aware that you will be charged an additional day should your emergency person be contacted. The remainder of the stay will be refund within 3-5 working days. 

7. No females in Heat.

 

8. We will not accept any dog known to be dangerous or aggressive to handlers or other dogs.

9. You must disclose to us if your pet has any aggressive tendencies either towards humans and/or other animals. If we feel that your pet poses a threat to our handlers, then we reserve the right to refuse to board your animal. Should your pet become aggressive towards our handles during their stay, your emergency contact may be required to give your pet emergency accommodation. Please be aware that you will be charged an additional day should your emergency person be contacted. The remainder of the stay will be refund within 3-5 working days. Yourself or emergency contacts may be asked to remove difficult or dangerous pets from their housing units with immediate effect.

 

10. You consent to your dog mixing with dogs from other households whilst boarding. 

 

11. Any bedding, toys, medication, or personal items supplied by the owner that become damaged/destroyed by your pet, during boarding, are left at the owner’s risk and any veterinary treatment required following such an event will be at the owner’s expense.

12. Per gov.uk, your dog must wear a collar and tag with owner's name and address when in public place.

About Your Payment

1. Please note, there is no booking be confirmed until we receive your full payment. We accept your payment by cash (in advance) or bank transfer.  

 

2. To extend your pets' stay, the payment will be require prior the end of original booking. 

3. For the last-minute / same day booking, full payment will be required by bank transfer at least 3 hours before the service start. Otherwise, your enquiry will be cancelled automatically.

4. If you collect your dog before the confirmed end time of the boarding, you will not receive a refund.

5. Cancellation Policy

5.1 For Boarding / Day Care / Drop-In Visit

  • A full refund is available if cancelled 72 hours before the service begins. 

  • If cancelled less than 72 hours, but more than 24 hours before the booking begins, a 50% refund is available.

  • No show or last minute cancellation within 24 hours before the booking begins, payment non-refundable.

 

5.2 For Dog Walking

  • A full refund if booking is cancelled 3 hours before the service is delivered.

  • Last minute cancellation within 3 hours before the booking begins, payment non-refundable

Privacy Policy

To comply with licensing rules, we have to hold owners contact and veterinary details on paper file or a computer data for at least 3 years.

We use personal data for contacting you regarding your bookings with us.

We only share your information with your or our veterinary surgeon in relation to your pet.

You can request what personal data we hold about you by emailing fluffyears.leeds@gmail.com, and you can request to have your personal data deleted but we would as a consequence not be able to take your pet for boarding due to licensing requirements.
